Most orders process and ship within 1-5 business days, depending on our current load. Selecting expedited shipping (UPS Overnight, for example) will not speed up the processing time, it will still take us 1-5 days to pull, package and print a label for your order.
While we make every attempt to keep our inventory up-to-date, there may be times when a product is out of stock, even through it shows as in stock and available on the website. In this instance, we will email you and offer you the option to substitute the item, hold your order until the item arrives, or ship your order and you will be issued a refund for the missing item.
Coupon Codes cannot be combined. Only one Coupon Code per order.
Damaged Items or Shortages
We must be notified of damaged items or shortages immediately, and in all cases within 15 days of your receipt of the order. We will replace or refund at our discretion. If we have not heard from you within 15 days, we assume that all is well and we will not be responsible for damaged items or short shipments.
Our Layaway Plan
We offer an informal type of Layaway plan to enable our customers to take advantage of Sales/Promotions, even tho the timing may not be right for them. To place an order for 'Layaway', add items to your cart, as you normally would, and go through the checkout process. Select "CHECK" or "BUSINESS CHECK" as the method of Payment, and type LAYAWAY and the Date you plan to pay for the order, into the comments section. You will receive an invoice for your order through PayPal. You may pay for your order via PayPal, Credit Card or by mailing a check. Your order must be paid in full, no later than 30 days from the date you placed the order. If we have not received payment within 30 days, we will cancel the order, and any Coupon Code(s) used when placing the order will not be honored. Checks and Money Orders must clear our bank, prior to shipping.
RETURNED CHECKS: There is a $35 fee for all returned checks, plus any charges levied by our financial institution. Product Pricing does not include shipping charges. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. Michigan residents: 6% sales tax applicable.
Domestic: Packages are shipped via United Parcel Service (UPS) or the United States Postal Service (USPS). Please note: Handling time will vary between 1-3 days depending on our current load. Selecting 'Next Day' or 3 Day Select, will not affect handling time.
Note: Bulk food items and items such as Cages, Play Gyms, etc. ship direct from the manufacturer. This helps keep costs down. Allow additional time for shipping, most will ship within 7-10 days.

Avian Antics has a no return policy. To protect the health and safety of your birds and ours, we do not recycle merchandise. If you have a problem with your order, please contact us immediately and we will do everything possible to make it right. Please make sure you read product descriptions carefully and choose the appropriate sized item for your bird. If you have any questions, please contact us before you place your order. We cannot be responsible for items you purchase that are not the correct size for your bird.
