For more than 20 years we bred and raised a variety of Exotic Birds. In 2002 we closed the Aviary, retired from breeding and directed our energies toward helping those that help the birds. The number of unwanted parrots, macaws and cockatoos in Rescue or Sanctuary situations is ever increasing. The thousands of Rescue/Sanctuary facilities that house and care for these unwanted birds, struggle to provide proper food, veterinary care, caging and toys for their feathered charges.
For every bird in your home that is cherished and lovingly cared for, there are two living their lives as "throw-away" birds in a Rescue or Sanctuary situation.

Adopt A Parrot Rescue 1 - Yahoo Group formed for the purpose of bringing together rescues around the world and network for a common goal-helping the birds
HealthiPet Network - non-profit, all Volunteer Organization that not only operates as a Rescue/Adoption facility for Companion Birds, but also networks to provide transportation throughout the United States, for Rescued animals of all types.
Second Chance Birds - Group of Volunteers that raise money monthly and donates to Rescue's to assist with Veterinary care for their feathered charges.
